Name: Kate Bishop
Canon: Marvel 616
Age: 21
Bio: Kate Bishop was born to a world of superheroes, one where names like Captain America and Iron Man are pretty common ground. Despite being born to a wealthy family, Kate sought out to do more for the world than just toss around filthy money. Instead, she took up a bow and arrow, joining a group of teenage heroes, the Young Avengers, and began fighting crime and saving lives despite her youthful age and inexperience. Given the name Hawkeye, she eventually took up partnership with Clint Barton, the original wielder of the Hawkeye name himself, assisting him for a short time in the streets of Brooklyn before venturing out to Los Angeles where she took up becoming a private investigator.

SYMBIOTE INFORMATION
[RHO] - [AVIFAUNA SIGHT]
✔ Achieves a sharper sense of eyesight. Though humans are said to be able to see an infinite measure of distance, the details of an object begin to unfocus as the distance increases. However, with this ability, the human eyesight will adapt to that of a bird's, spotting objects in specific detail from even two miles away. It also widens the range of field vision more similar to that of a bird. The eye will be able to project a broad perspective of sight that covers up to 340 degrees of range, more advanced than the 120 degrees that a human can see.
✖ The advanced perception requires an increased level of concentration on the object and the widened range requires a focus on controlling the scope of sight. The longer the concentration lasts, the more prone the user becomes to headaches, dizziness, and nausea.
BROOD: [ELNATH]Mara Jade ➼BROOD PERMISSIONSsnaphiss
John Murphy ➼wrackful
Remus Lupin ➼cur
Peter Parker ➼spideys
Kate tends to be pretty upfront about a majority of her thoughts and opinions, so she doesn't aim to guard as much as most would, making a lot of her instinctive feelings easier to grasp. As outlined in the Nest Permissions, this mostly includes her stubborn recklessness in trying to be a hero whenever possible and a sense of conceited leadership, wanting to constantly be knowledgeable in all accessible information. The brood will be able to sense how this comes from a sense of wanting to make up for lacking powers in a world of serum-powered, genetically modified, and magical beings.
Feelings towards her close friends, mostly the Young Avengers, will come easily. Aside from the very visible sense of affection that she holds for them, there will also be a coat of guilt, of obligation, and of longing. Clint Barton will appear as often as the rest, but will be more conflicted as the feelings associated with him compose of a mix of disappointment and sympathy, coated with blurts of anger, as well with admiration, respect, and care.
The hardest places to reach are guarded more firmly. While the brood will sense a faint concentration of fear and resolve in one portion of Kate's mind, learning of its source comes with more difficulty. The memories of being sexually assaulted years earlier are some that Kate puts extra effort to lock away from others. It gives birth to the need to fight back and defend when attacked, both physically and emotionally.
NEST PERMISSIONS
It doesn't take much effort to find out Kate considers herself a superhero in her world. It's not something she hides and is in fact something she tends to broadcast pretty easily. The instincts of a hero are one of a wild determination, showcasing Kate's needs to want to save something if it needs saving even if involvement might just make things worse. If she sees herself as a potential savior for something (which she often will in her conceit), she'll step up to the plate to make it happen.
She's very easily stubborn in most situations and will more often than not find herself in the right. Because of this, she tends to rely on her own instincts and can have a dangerous sense of optimism when it comes to making decisions. However, she's rather young and inexperienced despite proving her talents in a wide range of abilities including weapon-wielding and investigation, so most of her decisions come as a result of naivety more than anything else. Having come from a very wealthy family, her spoiledness comes easy, but so does seeing that she feels a sense of shame at her father's wealth comes from involvement with mobsters and B-class villains.
Because Kate holds a high regard for her friends, it's easy to see the basics of her affection for her fellow Young Avengers — Billy, Teddy, Cassie, America, Tommy, and Noh-Varr are the most likely to drift through her mind. Noh-varr's memories, however, come with a bit of bittersweet disdain. Every so often, there'll be thoughts of one Clint Barton. Those thoughts are a bit more guarded but are outlined with an oddly mixed package of frustration and compassion.
There'll also be an easily drawn line of loving dogs and hating cats. Her pup, Lucky, also known as Pizza Dog, is just about the best thing in the all the multiverse.
MENTAL LINK
Everything is so purple it hurts. Mind the city noise. Quite often is a whiff of a freshly baked pizza. Every once in a while, a dog barks. Cats become the bane of existence. The instinct to laugh might come easier. A sense of hopefulness, but frustration. Productivity and recklessness might increase. Suddenly every Bruce Springsteen lyric has been memorized.
PERMISSIONS
Physical Affection: Yes - her reaction depends on the level of friendliness. Please note, Kate has a history of being sexually assaulted and may respond negatively to unwarranted physical contact.
Physical Violence: Yes - expect her to fight back. Kate tends to have a lot of background training with a variety of weapons (especially the bow and arrow) as well as hand-to-hand combat. While she's fairly talented in a fight, she's still rather young so someone with more experience can definitely have the upper hand.
Romance/Relationships: Yes - she's pretty open with intimacy. Casual and fleeting relationships and one night stands come a lot easier to her than developing genuine romance. The latter will take a matter of development due to her bad history with serious relationships and her tendency to avoid commitment if possible.
Thread-jacking: Yes.
Back-tagging: Absolutely.
Fourth-walling: Yes, she's used to multiple universes. She's seen them all.
Offensive Subjects/Triggers: Sexual assault, as she has a history of it.
Anything Else? Kate tends to run her mouth without realizing and often says things that she shouldn't, meaning she can run the risk of hitting others' triggers and breaking fourth walls. I'll keep an eye on each character's permissions but be aware that Kate can often speak without a filter.
